Diphu April 10: Kuki underground outfit ‘United People’s Revolutionary Front’ and ‘Kuki Liberation Front’ which is active in Karbi Anglong have expressed their willingness for negotiation with the government recently. They made contact through the Kuki civil body Kuki National Assembly. The development came after security forces engaged in a counter-terrorism operation gunned down three UPRF ultras in the high altitude area of Singhason Hills. Diphu April 10: On April 7, Diphu CJM court First Class Magistrate, N.K Deka Barua issued an arrest warrant for Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. The reason for the arrest warrant was Kejriwal’s continual failure to appear before the court. There was an outstanding summons for his personal appearance in connection with a defamation case. Court Orders Police Enquiry to Probe Fertilizer Swindle

Diphu December 21: Last month, Khatkati police discovered and seized 80 50kg bags of government-subsidized fertilizer in a Manipur bound truck. The discovery was made over national highway 39 near the Assam-Nagaland border.
