Tuliram Promises to Work Towards Autonomous State

Diphu December 5: Chief Executive Member of Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council, Tuliram Ronghang has reiterated his stand on creation of an autonomous state for Karbi Anglong and Dima Hasao. He noted that implementation of article 244(A) of the Constitution of India is the top priority for the BJP-led Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC). Diphu November 30: Superintendent of Karbi Anglong Police, Dabojit Doloi, lead a team of Diphu police in a skirmish near Diphu ITI that resulted in the arrest of two UPLA cadres. The UPLA (United Peoples liberation Army) operatives came to collect a payoff from the private residence of Bidyasing Rongpi, Executive Member of Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council.
