Diphu December 2 2022: Surajit Roy joined as Head – Regional Services of eastern region in Indian Oil. A Mechanical Engineer by profession, Roy has experience of more than three decades in various domains of Indian Oil. He has been pivotal in setting up state of the art petroleum facilities of Indian Oil across the length and breadth of the country.

In the course of his long and illustrious career, Roy has spearheaded multiple projects in LPG, Engineering and Health, Safety & Environment functions of Indian Oil with phenomenal success.
Prior to joining as Head of Regional Services, he headed Health, Safety & Environment function of Indian Oil Marketing Division for Eastern Region and has been instrumental in implementing major initiatives in the field of Safety, Human Resources Development and Learning & Development.
A man who is highly regarded for his eye for fine detail and hard work, he has set new benchmarks for others to emulate in LPG, Contracts, Health Safety & Environment and Engineering functions.
Roy played a pivotal role in setting up multiple LPG Bottling Plants and LPG Import facilities across India. He has also been involved in the introduction of LPG cylinders of various capacities in Indian Oil.
