Diphu August 20: M.S. Manivannan, Commissioner and Secretary Government of Assam, General Administration Department announced a two day long Deputy Commissioners conference will be held at Diphu, headquarter and fastest mover town of Karbi Anglong autonomous district from August 22, chaired by the Chief Minister of Assam.

Top brass of Assam administration and Home department will take part in the conference.

Additional Chief Secretary and Principal Secretary, Commissioner and Special Secretary of all developmental departments of Assam government, Director General of Police will hold discussion on specific areas.

Government Thrust Areas

The pinnacle summit will take up issues related to government thrust areas.
